Treating allergy symptoms in pets is crucial because chronic allergies can lead to yeast infections, which can cause further discomfort and health issues. If your pet is already experiencing a yeast infection due to allergies, consider pairing Itchy Scratchy with Yucky Fungus for a comprehensive approach to alleviate their symptoms and improve their overall well-being.
If your pet has a yeast infection and allergies, use 75% of Yucky Fungus Dosage and 25% of Itchy Scratchy for 1 week. Then use half of the recommended dosage of each for 3-4 weeks. At this point the yeast should be much better under control and you can switch to 25% of Yucky Fungus and 75% of Itchy Scratchy. When the yeast infection is gone you can discontinue and use full dose of Itchy Scratchy. If your pet has severe allergies and not much yeast, you can start with 50/50 of each for the first week and then 75-100% of Itchy Scratchy and and 25% of the recommended dose of Yucky Fungus.
The most common reason this formula may not work is if the symptoms are from a food allergy or intolerance and not environmental allergies or contact dermatitis. You may notice a slight reduction in itching but the food should be eliminated for complete resolution.
Allergies are usually seasonal, and not chronic. Use when symptoms are present. This is not a preventative formula for allergies. You can use Forever Young to help the immune system.

This product helps reduce symptoms such as itching, sinusitis, irritated eyes, excess mucus, and dermatitis caused by environmental factors or contact dermatitis. It also strengthens the immune system over time. If this formula does not work well it is most likely a food allergy or intolerance.
Just like humans, dogs can suffer from pollen allergies and can display symptoms year-round. However, pollen allergies tend to be most troublesome for pets during the spring, summer, and fall. If the skin is mostly just dry, you can use Forever Young to support and nourish the skin and help the immune system. If the skin is dry with white flakes and has a smell (often like corn chips), it might be a yeast infection or overgrowth and should be treated with Yucky Fungus.
